Does everything scale linearly?

Mostly. But scale salt/baking powder to 75-80% when doubling, and spices to 1.5×. Yeast can stay the same up to 3×.

How do I halve an egg?

Beat the egg (about 3 tbsp) and use 1.5 tbsp per half egg.

Should I adjust baking temperature?

No. Keep temperature the same. Time may increase 5-10 minutes for larger volumes.
